BE PREPARED FOR SOUND DOCTRINE (PART I) Contd.
Jesus said in Mathew 6:22-23, “the lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body would be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body would be full of Darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness”. Meaning the knowledge and the understanding you have, should be perfect before you could start making converts of heaven. This will prevent you from misleading your converts, because the work of the ministry should be based on the ability (which grace supplies) and willingness to impact knowledge which is able to make disciples of the kingdom of God. Therefore, converts should be made on the basis of that knowledge that is perfect, and not ignorant in the form of Knowledge or Knowledge in the form of ignorant. That is why, in the nation of Christ which is the body of Jesus Christ, converts are developed to maturity.
Like Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:1-2, “ therefore since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not working in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.”
Dear friend, it is only the truth that can bring you to the higher place (heaven), where you are placed above principalities and powers, where you are seated in the heavenly place in the Lord Jesus, so that you can do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the grace which the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ impacts into you, which empowers you to work according to His purpose, let Jesus grant you the mercy to partner with us.
