BE PREPARED FOR SOUND DOCTRINE (PART I)

I am bringing this message to feed you with a scarce spiritual food, because I know you are tasty and hungry for God’s truth. Jesus know, that in a time such as today, many preachers would go out making converts, but rather than leading them to the truth, they are led to heap of lies which takes them to hell. Jesus said in Mathew 23:15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.” This verse illustrates that the business of making converts does not depend on the distance you travel, but on the quality of the spiritual food you are willing to give to the converts.  If the food (word) is poor quality, they are led to hell.  But if the food is of a higher grade, converts are led to the kingdom of God.  What am I saying?   I am saying that there are preachers who travel as far as America to China, India to Africa, from Africa to U.K and so on, to make converts but they lead these converts to a lower place (hell) rather than a higher place (heaven). Jesus made us to know that the principles of Scribes and Pharisees are applicable to today’s Christian preachers.  Do these preachers do it because they don’t know the truth?  No, they know the truth, Jesus said in Matthew 23:13, “But woe to you Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in’.  Before the Scribes and Pharisees could shut up the kingdom of heaven against men, it means that they have the key to the door.  In other words, they have the key which is the truth that unlocks the rich wisdom of God, but they have purposed in their mind not to open the door of these riches to their converts because their hypocrisy would be judged by the lives of the new converts if they know the truth, so they decided to shut the door of the kingdom of heaven and preach what looks like the gospel as if it is the gospel of Jesus Christ, thereby, preventing their converts from entering the kingdom of God. The yoke of Scribes and Pharisees in your life is broken today in the name of Jesus. God wants those who are searching for the truth to have access to that truth, and the truth is not the messages that children of God or the ignorant preaches, but the messages which the sons of God (matured Christians) teaches, preparing the mind to the doctrine of heaven.
